These classes introduce technical elements of Jazz.
If high energy is your jam, then Jazz dance is for you. These classes will introduce technique in jazz styles, including lyrical, Broadway, and other variations within the technique. Turns, floor work and jumps will be emphasized along with some choreographic exploration.

Elementary Beginner (6-7 yrs)
This class will introduce technique in jazz styles, including lyrical, Broadway, and other variations within the technique. Turns, floor work and jumps will be emphasized along with some choreographic exploration.
Junior Beginner (8-9 yrs)
This class will introduce technique in jazz styles, including lyrical, Broadway, and other variations within the technique. Turns, floor work and jumps will be emphasized along with some choreographic exploration.
Youth Beginner (10-12 yrs)
This class will introduce technique in jazz styles, including lyrical, Broadway, and other variations within the technique. Turns, floor work and jumps will be emphasized along with some choreographic exploration. If you are new to our program, please contact us for placement.
Youth Intermediate to Advanced (10-12 yrs)
These classes focus on Jazz and Ballet concepts, skills, and terminology. Students will also practice spatial awareness, rhythm + timing, creative movement, and performance quality through various exercises, activities, games, and choreography. In you are new to our program, please contact us for placement.
Teen Beginner (13+ yrs)
This class will introduce technique in jazz styles, including lyrical, Broadway, and other variations within the technique. Turns, floor work and jumps will be emphasized along with some choreographic exploration. If you are new to our program, please contact us for placement.
Teen Intermediate to Advanced (13+ Yrs)

Dress Code
Attire: Comfortable dance attire in which dancers can easily and freely move such as leotards, leggings, spandex shorts, fitted tanks/tees, etc. No jeans, baggy pants/shirts, or other clothing that restricts movement. Hair must be pulled back away from the face. No jewelry.
Footwear: Dancers may wear jazz shoes, half-soles, or bare feet.
