Teen Dance

Performance Class Youth/Teen

Teen Dance classes explore Ballet, Jazz, and introductory Contemporary technique. Students focus on developing strength, alignment, flexibility, musicality, rhythm, timing, and choreographic skills, while building expressive performance quality and stage confidence.

Ballet

Technique Class

A well-rounded approach to ballet technique, focusing on posture, alignment, strength, and fluidity. Through barre work, center combinations, and choreography, dancers build strength, flexibility, and grace. Classes are available for multiple age groups and levels.

Jazz

Technique Class

A blend of classic and contemporary jazz techniques. Dancers learn kicks, leaps, turns, isolations, rhythm, coordination, and stage presence while building strength, versatility and flexibility.

Contemporary

Technique Class

Dancers explore contemporary techniques emphasizing versatility, improvisation, body awareness, and creative expression. Skills include floor work, jumps, turns and modern technique.

Hip Hop

Performance Class Youth/Teen

Hip Hop classes encourage students to explore the energy, creativity, and style of hip hop dance in a dynamic and engaging environment. Students develop coordination, balance, strength, rhythm, and timing while learning foundational hip hop skills and a variety of movement patterns.

Tap

Performance Class Adult Class

(Listed as an Adult Class, but teens 15+ are welcome) Tap classes introduce students to fundamental tap steps and techniques in a fun and supportive environment. Classes focus on developing rhythm, timing, coordination, and musicality through exercises and simple routines.

Acro & Tumbling

Technique Class Youth/Teen

Focuses on strength, flexibility, agility, and acro/tumbling skills that support dance technique and choreography.

Pointe/Pre-Pointe

Technique Class

Designed for dancers prepared for the challenge of dancing en pointe. Focus includes ankle/foot strength, alignment, balance, and safe technique through barre and center work.

Contemporary & Modern

Technique Class Adult Class

(Listed as an Adult Class, but teens 15+ are welcome) Blends contemporary and modern techniques with a focus on alignment, expressive movement, historical context, improvisation, and introductory choreography exploration.
